Rameses in Wonderland is located in the basement of Cobb Residence Hall with the entrance facing Jackson Hall. Parking is available at Cobb Deck and with street park.ng along Country Club Road. Please see the images at the bottom of this page for more guidance.

The Lost Tarheel is located on Franklin Street at 128 E Franklin St. Suite 110. Parking is available along Franklin Street and at parking lots around Franklin.

Here at Chapel Thrill Escapes we are committed to creating an experience that is accessible to all. We strive to provide an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone who wishes to enjoy our escape rooms.

We understand the importance of accessible booking options. Our online booking system is designed to be user-friendly and compatible with screen readers.

We want to ensure our physical locations are designed to be accessible to all players. We have taken measures to ensure that our escape rooms are wheelchair accessible, and that a wheelchair accessible path and entrance are available. We understand that individuals may have sensory sensitivities. Our escape rooms are designed to be engaging while avoiding overwhelming sensory experiences. Our current room utilizes audio and visual cues in small aspects of the escape room experience which may prove challenging to those that are hard of hearing or sight. Some aspects of the puzzles present in the room may utilize colors that may be difficult for those with colorblindness.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our escape rooms. If you have specific concerns or requests related to accessibility support, please contact us at admin@chapelthrillescapes.com, and we will work to make appropriate accommodations.

Anyone in the Chapel Hill community is invited to participate in this unique experience. We also welcome guests under the age 18. UNC-CH on-campus residents will be provided a discounted rate.

The total time to escape the Rameses in Wonderland is 1 hour and 15 minutes while The Lost Tarheel players are allotted 1 hour. Good luck!

At this time, we are capping participation for each session of Rameses in Wonderland at 8 guests.

The Lost Tarheel has a capacity of 10 people per group.

We also require a minimum of 3 guests per group.

At this time, we are requiring reservations at least 48 hours in advance to ensure there are available spots for each session. To make a reservation, select “Book Now” at either the top or bottom of this page.

Cancellations must occur 24 hours before the time of the reservation to be eligible for a full refund.

Yes, we can accept payment for additional guests at the time of entering the room. However, we cannot guarantee there will be space for additional guests not included in the initial reservation.

We recommend arriving 15 min before your booked session begins to ensure the next sessions can also begin on time.

Just you and your imaginative, creative thinking! All the clues needed to complete the puzzles will be hidden somewhere within the room.

At this time, we are not allowing food or drinks into the room to prevent damage to puzzles and ensure the safety of our guests.

At this time, we are not allowing pictures or videos inside the room. However, we do have space for a picture with a themed background after completing the room that’s perfect for posting on social media!

Groups arriving more than 15 minutes late to their appointed time have the option to play the room with reduced time left in their reservation or reschedule to the next available time.

Due to our unique status as a student-run non-profit organizations, we are unable to offer refunds on cancelled escape room bookings.

All players of our room will be required to sign a waiver in-person before playing the room. Signees must be over the age of 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you will need a legal guardian to sign the waiver.

We spent a lot of time working on this Escape Room! To preserve the room and reduce the demand on our Gamemasters, we require all players to remove their shoes when playing the room. A shoe rack to store your shoes will be provided at no cost. Thank you for your compliance!

Players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by at least one adult for the game.
